About Me

I began practicing yoga regularly since 2007. My first passion was Bikram yoga, but I have explored other styles to widen my knowledge and understanding of yoga, and to deepen my own practice. I certified as a Hatha Yoga Instructor, with the Hot Yoga Absolute Series in Thailand. I am eager to share my love, passion and understanding of the physical side of yoga.

My background is in sports and dancing: At six years old, I started ballet, and competed in rhythmic gymnastics for nine years. I took part in many sports, including swimming, which enabled me to work as a lifeguard during summers in Spain. I also worked as an aerobics instructor for a couple of years, and after giving up gymnastics competitively, I started dance lessons for fun.

This active lifestyle was interrupted due to my busy schedule after I got my first job in the corporate world, working as an IT consultant. But I found in yoga all I need to feel great after a long, stressful day. Yoga is a great workout, plus it will leave you feeling calm and relaxed… A good night's sleep after class is guaranteed!

About Me

Born in France, I moved to London in 2002 to experience a different lifestyle as well as to improve my knowledge of English. I discovered yoga shortly after moving in under Rebecca Parker, a Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher, who would later become my teacher. I certified under her guidance in 2005 and have been teaching in health clubs, yoga studios and conducting private classes and workshops ever since.

This style of yoga particularly resonated with me due to my amateur background in dance (I did ballet from the age of 7 to 19). I enjoy the freedom, creativity and fluidity of movement that this form allows and I like to keep my classes challenging, versatile and light.

Despite yoga being a form of discipline, there is no need to keep a straight face! I am influenced by many teachers (Shiva Rea, Kathryn Budig, Seane Corn to name a few), but lately especially by the Jivamukti method.

Yoga frees the body by making it strong and flexible, and it frees the mind through the use of breathing and meditation techniques. Yoga reconnects you with who you really are.

No matter which style you end up being drawn to, you will notice your practice constantly evolve as you develop.

About Me

I have been practicing yoga since 2005. I started with Hatha yoga and moved on to Ashtanga and Vinyasa. Whilst I enjoyed yoga, it only became a passion when I started doing Bikram.

In Bikram yoga, I learned more about the mental practice of yoga than anywhere else. My passion for Bikram inspired me to try any and every yoga class I could find, looking for good teachers and researching ways to improve my own practice.

For me, yoga was the answer to a lot of questions. I have been a professional dancer for the last 10 years, and in that time, I have studied many types of physical practices to help improve my ability and performance.

Physical expression has been a big part of my life for many years. I took martial arts at school from the age of 12, and in my teens I started to take dance more seriously. To stay in shape, I swim, run, weight train, and take Pilates. Practicing yoga has given me real knowledge of myself, and helps maintain both my mental and physical well-being.

I love yoga! I think everyone would benefit from practicing yoga. I hope to share my knowledge and understanding of yoga, so others can share the benefits I have experienced.
